Logging in

To log in to the service, go to NHS Record a vaccination.

Users who already have an Okta account

Record a vaccination (RAVS), like some other NHS services, uses Okta to sign users in securely.

If you already have an Okta account, you will get a welcome email telling you how to log in to RAVS using your Okta username and password.

Your Okta username will be the email address used to sign up to RAVS. If you’ve forgotten your password, you’ll have the option to reset it.

If that does not work, it may be your Okta account has been suspended because you’ve not used it for 6 months. In that case, contact our support team and ask them to reset your password.

Users who do not have an Okta account

If you do not have an Okta account, we will create one for you at the same time as we create your RAVS account.

You will get 2 emails: one from Okta and another from Record a vaccination.

The email from Okta includes an ‘Activate Okta Account’ link, which expires after 7 days.

If you cannot find the email from Okta, check your spam or junk.

Once you’ve activated your Okta account, you will be able to log in to RAVS with your Okta credentials.

If your Okta link has expired, contact our support team.

Problems logging in

Deactivated account

Your RAVS account will be deactivated if you have not logged in to the service for 90 days. We will email you to tell you this has happened.

If you still need access to RAVS, contact a lead administrator at your organisation who will be able to reactivate your account.

If you are the only lead administrator at your organisation and you’ve been deactivated, contact your Regional Vaccination Operations Centre (RVOC) and ask them to add you to RAVS again.
